The Editor of Drishti Weekly Shambhulal Shrestha and Editor of drishtinews.com MP Subba have been released on bail on Thursday.
After a hearing on contempt of court, the Special Court granted Rs 25,000 bail to Shrestha and Subba.
A division bench of Chairman of Special Court Tek Narayan Kunwar, members Tej Narayan Singh Rai, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Murari Babu Shrestha, Ritendra Thapa and Bidur Koirala ordered the release of the two journalists after the hearing and recording their statements.
Lawyers Dinesh Tripathi, Dekendra Subedi, Anantaraj Luintel and other legal practitioners defended the case on behalf of Drishti Media.
