The Chaudhary Group (CG) hosted a high-profile visit from the Swiss Foreign Minister, Ignazio Daniele Giovanni Cassis, and his delegation at its headquarters in Kathmandu, celebrating the success of the ENSURE program, a Swiss-backed initiative aimed at enhancing employability skills for Nepali youth.

The ENSURE (Enhancing Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment) program, a collaboration between the Swiss Embassy and the Chaudhary Foundation, provides industry-relevant training and hands-on work experience to young Nepali people. As a key private-sector partner, Chaudhary Group offers apprenticeships and internships across its businesses, helping bridge the gap between education and employment.

The ENSURE program is a testament to how public-private partnerships can drive meaningful change.”

The event highlighted the growing role of private sector engagement in workforce development, with Switzerland’s continued support for Nepal’s inclusive economic growth.
