FNCCI President Dhakal stresses 'double investment' and 'double employment' as mission 2084 agenda

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dahal has said that the political parties should work toward creating job opportunities, help increase revenue and build infrastructures for the prosperity of the country.

Speaking at the Rising Nepal Summit 2025 hosted by Nepalkhabar at Soaltee Hotel in Kathmanud on Thursday, President Dhakal said that the political parties willing to turn tables in the 2084 elections should prioritize public service-orientated works, double investment and create more job opportunities.

President Dhakal stressed that the agenda of the political parties of the mission 2084 should be ‘Double Investment, and Double Employment’.

Stating that the joint efforts of all will open the door to investment, President Dhakal emphasized that, if done so, it will lead the country on the path of prosperity.

He further said that, as the leader of the FNCCI, had prioritized the pro-public service works, tourism development from the very day he started the business.

Revenue should be increased, more employment opportunities be created, and investment doubled for the prosperity of Nepal, said Dhakal.

The Summit convened at Soaltee Hotel was attended by former President Bidya Bhandari, Economic Advisor to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, ministry officials, industrialists, among others.
