The gold price has gone up by Rs 3,400 per tola on Friday, the first trading day of week.
With the price hike, the bullion is being sold for Rs 196,500 per tola, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA) said.
The price of yellow precious metal was Rs 193,100 per tola on Friday.
The gold price had hit a record high of Rs 197,900 per tola on April 22.
The silver price has also gone up Rs 15 per tola today.
With this increase, the silver is being sold for Rs 2,250 per tola, the Federation has said.
