Gold down by Rs 100 per tola

The price of gold has gone down by Rs 100 per tola today.

With the decline in the bullion price, it is being sold for Rs 196,700 per tola today, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA) said.

The gold price was Rs 196,800 per tola yesterday.

The gold price had reached Rs 199,400 per tola on August 8. It was the highest price of the yellow precious metal ever recorded in the Nepali market.

On the other hand, the silver price has increased by Rs 20 per tola today.

According to the Federation, the silver is being sold for Rs 2,325 per tola.
