Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and his Indian counterpart Vikram Misri have held a bilateral meeting in Kathmandu on Sunday evening.
During meeting, the two secretaries discussed various issues of bilateral cooperation ranging from connectivity to trade, and development collaboration to bilateral partnership, reinforcing the robust bond between the two countries.
"The discussions covered a wide range of issues, including connectivity, trade and development cooperation, underscoring the strong bond between the two nations," the Foreign Ministry mentioned on X following the meeting.

Misri, who arrived on a two-day official visit to Nepal this morning at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Rai, has paid courtesy calls on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Ram Chandra Paudel, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba.
Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has formally invited Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for an India visit, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
The Indian side has proposed the September 16-17 for Prime Minister Oli's India visit. However, the exact dates of the visit have not yet been fixed.
Misri will return home on Monday, wrapping up his two-day visit to Nepal.
