Four killed, six injuried in Dadelhura jeep mishap identified

The identities of the deceased and injured in the jeep accident that occurred in Dadeldhura on Thursday morning have been established.

According to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, four people died and six sustained injuries in the accident.

The deceased were Suresh Saud, 18, of Navadurga Rural Municipality-5, Suresh Parki, 23, of the same place, Tara Awasthi, 40, and Kalawati Saud, 72.

The deceased Awasthi is a teacher. She taught at Bhumiraj Basic School, Chaud.

According to Police Inspector Dambar Bista of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Sushila BK, 18, of Navadurga Rural Municipality-5, Pratik Parki, 48, of the same place, Chandra Bahadur Saud, 42, Ganesh Bahadur Saud, 44, Prakash BK, and driver Ram Bahadur Saud, 35, were injured in the accident. They are being treated at Dadeldhura Hospital.

The jeep (Se 1 Ja 738) met with an accident on a rough road in Navadurga Rural Municipality-5, Chaud.

According to police, the jeep fell into the forest about 500 meters down the road.
