Former President Bhandari to remain busy with meetings in Bara today

Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who has returned to active politics with CPN (UML), is on a visit to Madhesh Province since Saturday.

She reached Birgunj, the district headquarters of Parsa ,on Saturday morning for an event and has been meeting with UML leaders and cadres.

UML student leader Prakash Paudel informed Nepalkhabar that she is scheduled to meet with UML leaders and cadres throughout the day today in Bara.

Bhandari will remain busy with meetings in Simra, as part of the program organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation in Bara on the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary.

President Bhandari visited the Gadhimai Temple located in Bara this morning. She was welcomed by the Mayor of Mahagadhimai Municipality, Upendra Yadav, alongside locals.

Although UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli revoked her party membership, Bhandari has not retreated from politics, rather intensified her political activities by opening political activities by opening a liaison office at Thapagaun in Kathmandu, on August 21.

President Bhandari was welcomed by UML leaders and cadres with a 55 kg garland when she landed at the airport in Simra, Bara On Saturday.
