Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on a five-day official visit to China, is scheduled to meet with the two heads of state and government of Asian countries in Tianjin on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting will take place before a dinner hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping for the heads of state and government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam and President Mohamed Muizzu of Maldives. According to information, Prime Minister Oli and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham will meet at the Hotel Crowne Plaza in Tianjin at 4 pm (local time). The meeting between the two prime ministers will last half an hour.
After the meeting with the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Prime Minister Oli will meet with President Mohamed Muizzu of the South Asian nation. The meeting, which will be held at 5 pm, will also last half an hour and will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan will host a dinner in the evening to welcome the heads of state and government invited to the SCO Summit.
Prime Minister Oli, along with his wife Radhika Shakya and the remaining six members of the delegation, will attend the dinner, which will begin at 7 pm.
Prime Minister Oli's first program on the second day of his visit to China began with an inspection of the rice production special zone in Xiaozhan, Jinan District. He then visited the Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao Memorial Museum.
