Gen Z to up the ante against social media ban

Generation Z (Gen Z) have announced protest against the ban of 26 social media platforms including Facebook, X and YouTube on Monday.

The people born between 1997 to 2012 are categorized as Gen Z.

According to the announcement, they will gather and demonstrate at Maitighar Mandala from 11 am tomorrow.

They are spreading this information on this protest via TikTok, urging the concerned to turn up at Maitighar Mandala in students' uniform and identity cards.

They have also urged the government to end corruption, create employment opportunities and ensure good government rather than banning social media platforms.
