Agitating Gen Z protesters have intercepted and gheraoed a vehicle of the Armed Police Force at Thapa Gaun in Kathmandu.
Three vehicles of the army and two vehicles of the Armed Police Force had left for the area after the protesters gathered on the road around the Parliament building.
Among them, one vehicle of the armed police was picketed by a group of protesters. Following the interception, the vehicle is preparing to return from Thapa Gaun itself.
Additional security forces have been mobilized following the interception of the APF vehicle by the protestors.
Despite the deployment of the security forces, they have not been able to free the vehicle from the protestors.
The tension had flared for some time after the security forces tried to free the vehicle.
However, the vehicles could not move after a large number of demonstrators kept sitting on the road.
