A protester has died during the demonstration at Baneshwor in Kathmandu.
The protester, who sustained bullet injuries fired from the police, died during treatment at the Civil Service Hospital in Baneshwar, the hospital's medical director, Deepak Paudel, told Nepalkhabar.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been revealed. Paudel said that more than 100 injured individuals are undergoing treatment at the Civil Service Hospital alone.

"One person has died. More than 100 injured people are receiving treatment at the hospital," he said.
Similarly, demonstrators entered the premises and set fire to the main gate of the Federal Parliament Building. The situation took a nasty turn around Baneshwar area after a protestor died from the bullet fired by the security personnel.
Despite the curfew clamped by the police, the demonstration is still going on. With the situation getting tense, the police opened fire, teargas shells, rubber bullets, and water cannons on the demonstrators.
Over 100 protestors who sustained injuries during the demonstration are undergoing treatment at Civil Service Hospital alone. Similarly, the injured are also undergoing treatment at other hospitals.
