Death toll from police gunfire during Gen Z protest climbs to 16

The death toll from police gunfire during the Gen Z demonstration in Kathmandu has reached 16.

The hospital confirmed that six people died at the Trauma Center alone. Similarly, five people died at Everest Hospital.

According to the hospital administration, among those brought to Civil Hospital for treatment, three protesters breathed their last in the course of treatment. 

Likewise, one person died at Kathmandu Medical College. Similarly, one more person passed away at Teaching Hospital, informed Dr. Gopal Sedhain, the spokesperson at the hospital.
