The demonstration has resumed at New Baneshwar since early Tuesday morning, shouting slogans 'Stop Killing Students'.

As many as 17 youths were brutally killed by the security personnel during the Gen Z demonstration at New Baneshwar on Monday

Youths have taken to the streets to protest the ruthless killing of students since early morning today, despite the indefinite curfew imposed by the Kathmandu District Administration Office.

Similarly, a demonstration has also started along the Chapagaun-Thecho road section against the Baneshwar killing. Some of those killed from the police gunfire were in school and college uniforms.

The means of transportation have been halted along this road section. Police have made an appeal to the general public not to go to this area.

Nineteen people, including 17 in Kathmandu Valley and two in Itahari, were killed in yesterday's Gen Z demonstration, according to the police.
