Protesters are vandalizing and setting fire to the residence of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha.
A large number of protesters are also shouting slogans against him. A large plume of smoke is seen rising from the area.
Local residents have said that they heard three to four rounds of gunshots.
