The Nepali Army has requested the Gen Z group to send the name-list of representatives to participate in the talks. The army has requested the Gen Z group to provide the names as early as possible.

After receiving this message from the army, discussions are currently underway within various Gen Z groups. They are discussing the issue of sending people knowledgeable in economics in addition to politics.

Former Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, Sagar Dhakal, who came to the limelight after contesting from Dadeldhura in the last election, are also under discussion. He is currently in Dhangadhi. Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSO) MP Sumana Shrestha. However, Shrestha has stated that she is unable to participate in the talks on behalf of Gen Z as she is affiliated with a specific party.

Similarly, discussions are underway within other Gen Z groups active in the movement to send representatives. It is not yet clear whether Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah will appear on behalf of Gen Z or participate separately in the talks.

On Tuesday, the President accepted the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and called for talks. Similarly, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel also issued a video message urging Gen Z groups to halt the agitation and come for a peaceful negotiation.

Preparations are underway to hold talks and find a way out under the facilitation of the Nepali Army. Balen Shah had written on social media that after the dissolution of the parliament, talks should be held with the army chief, and a civilian government with representatives of the Gen Z should be formed. Hence, the format of the talks and the roadmap for the way out have not yet been clear.
