The Kathmandu Valley has turned calm. With massive presence of security personnel including the Nepali Army (NA) in streets, there are no unruly activities reported today.

The NA has requested one and all not to leave homes except for essential works.

There is very sparse movement of people and vehicles in the valley this morning. The security personnel are also dousing the fires set on dozens of public buildings and private property.

NA has requested everyone to immediately inform it when miscreants found targeting public and personal property and damaging historical, social, cultural, religious places.
