The meeting between the representatives of Gen Z and the Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), Ashok Raj Sigdel, has ended without tangible outcomes.
Raksha Bam, a representative of Gen Z, had participated in the meeting with CoAS Sigdel.
Emerging from the meeting a few hours ago, Raksha said, "We held a meeting with the head of the Nepali Army. The meeting ended inconclusively as we differed on some ideological issues."
The talks had also been held between 10 representatives including Raksha of Gen Z and the head of the Nepali Army on Tuesday night. The meeting had been held at the Nepal Army headquarters Bhadrakali from 10 to 11 pm.
During the meeting Sigdel advised the representatives to hold talks with the representatives of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), according to the interlocutor, Rakasha.
"Also hold dialogues with representatives of RSP and RPP, too," Raksha quoted Sigdel as saying.
Disagreeing with Sigdel's advice, the representatives vehemently stated that they would not sit for talks with the representatives of any political parties.
