Supporters of Harka Sampang and Gen Z groups clashed with each other at Sundhara in Kathmandu on Thursday afternoon.
The confrontation took place after the supporters of Sampang, Mayor of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City, arrived here at Sundhara.
The demonstration which started peacefully on Monday took a nasty turn on Monday after the government used an excessive force to suppress the protest.
The enraged protest went on the rampage incurring a huge loss of lives and properties. A total of 34 people lost their lives, scores have been injured.
The unbridled demonstration toppled the regime and left the country in a state of statelessness. The Nepali Army is working as a facilitator to form an interim government and bail the country out of the present crisis. Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel is holding dialogues with various Gen Z representatives.
Against this background, supporters of Sampang and Gen Z clashed with each other at Sundhara on who should be made the prime minister.
