American Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R Thompson, has paid a courtesy call on the newly elected Prime Minister of the interim government of Nepal, Sushila Karki.
During the courtesy call convened at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Thursday, the issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation were discussed, the Prime Minister's Secretariat said.
Expressing gratitude to the United States of America (USA) for its continued support, Minister Karki expressed her belief that it would continue its support to Nepal as before in the days ahead, too.
On the occasion, Ambassador Thompson congratulated Karki on her appointment as the new Prime Minister of Nepal and assured of full support and cooperation as per the priorities of the Government of Nepal, like before.
