Gold price hits an all-time high of Rs 217,800

The prices of gold and silver have hit an all-time high on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of bullion increased by Rs 700 per tola to reach at 217,800 per tola today. The price of yellow precious metal was Rs 217,100 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver has gone up by Rs 30 to reach at 2,650 per tola today. It was sold for Rs 2,620 per tola on Sunday.

This is the highest price of silver ever recorded in the Nepali market.
