Janak Raj Sharma has been sworn in as the chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority.
Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sharma amidst a ceremony at held Singha Durbar a while ago.
He will assume office today itself, according to the Finance Ministry.
A cabinet meeting on Thursday appointed Sharma to the post after former chairman Sharad Ojha was suspended over the forgery of his credentials.
