The price of gold has hit an all-time high of Rs 223,200 per tola on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
This is the highest price of the yellow precious metal, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA) said.
The price of gold was Rs 223,000 on Friday.
Similarly, the price of silver has also gone up. The silver is being sold for Rs 2,810 per tola today, the Federation has said.
The silver was sold for Rs 2,740 per tola on Friday.
