The Mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, Harka Sampang, has filed an application at the Election Commission of Nepal (EC-N) for the registration of a new political party.
Sources informed Nepalkhabar that he filed the application with the Commission on September 23.
"He has submitted an application for the registration of a new political party. The name of the party as stated in the application is 'Shram Sanskriti Party' (Labor Culture Party) with himself as the chairman," a source closse to Sampang stated.
