Thirteen individuals, including the driver, were injured when a Bolero Pick-up (Ba 20 cha 931) met with an accident on the BP Highway near Khurkot in Sindhuli on Monday morning.
"A Bolero Pick-up heading to Dhapchauki of Sindhuli from Kathmandu met with an accident on the BP Highway at Bhalukhola, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6, Sindhuli at 11:45 am today," the police said.
The driver of the Bolero Pick-up, Om Bahadur Rana from Sindhuli, was driving the Bolero. He has been taken into custody by the police.
The double-cab Bolero lost control and fell some 50 meters off the road, the police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police officials from the Area Police Office, Khurkot and a joint team from the Armed Police Force Disaster Base, Khurkot, rescued the injured and took them to the hospital.
According to the police, they are undergoing treatment at Sunkoshi Community Hospital, Khurkot.
