Death toll from floods and landslides climbs to 52; 7 still missing

The death toll from the rain-induced floods and landslides that occurred on October 4 and 5 across the country has reached 52.

During this period, 7 people are missing and 29 people have been injured.

The highest number of fatalities—37 people—were recorded in Ilam. In Ilam, one person is missing and three people have been injured. Two bridges in the area were damaged by the floods.

According to the bulletin issued on Sunday evening, three vehicles were also damaged.
