Eighteen people who went to demonstrate at Maitighar Mandala have been arrested by the police.
Police on Thursday apprehended 18 people, including Nicholas Bhusal, Mohan Tamang, and Yubraj Katwal, while demonstrating over an alleged betrayal in the Gen Z movement.
A large number of police personnel have been deployed in the Maitighar-Baneshwar area since early morning. Demonstrations in that area have also been banned.
