Three girls drowned to death while fishing in the Sisne Khola rivulet in Gauradaha Municipality-9, Jhapa.
According to police, the victims include two daughters of local resident Anju Magar, seven-year-old Sushma and nine-year-old Swikriti, along with 11-year-old Roshni, the daughter of Nirmala Pariyar.
The District Police Office has reported that the girls drowned in the river while fishing. An investigation into the incident is underway, the police said.
