Prime Minister Sushila Karki has summoned heads of all 26 diplomatic missions and foreign ambassadors stationed in Nepal for a meeting at Singha Durbar regarding the country's current situation.

According to a source at Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), PM Karki is holding the meeting at Singha Durbar at 2:30 pm today.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister will brief ambassadors and the heads of diplomatic missions on Nepal's latest political developments, including the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

"Prime Minister Karki will brief the diplomatic community on the current political situation of Nepal, upcoming elections, expected cooperation, the work we plan to undertake, investment, and tourism," the source said.

This briefing follows the government's decision on Thursday to recall ambassadors from 11 countries.

The primary responsibility of the interim government, which was formed on September 12 under the leadership of former Chief Justice Karki following the Gen Z movement, is to conduct the House of Representatives election on March 5.
