CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' broke down in tears while addressing a cadres' orientation program organized in Gorkha on Friday.
Prachanda, who is contesting the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Gorkha-2, broke down while explaining the reasons why he came to Gorkha from his home district Chitwan-3 for polls .
He also reminded the cadres why Mao Zedong once returned to Chinkangsang after getting frustrated following the deviation of the Chinese Communist Movement.
Chinese leader Mao had reached Chinkangsang to revive the new energy for the new movement, said Prachanda.
"Now I have come to Gorkha to fight the last battle. I have come here to build, transform and save germs of revolution within the party," said he.
Feeling a bit nostalgic, he said Gorkha is the place where he spent his vibrant youth and took guerrilla training, relating the district to Chinkangsang.
