Seven people have died in a jeep accident in Rukum West on Friday.
Police reported that seven people were killed when a Bolero jeep, Ra 1 Ja 422, met with an accident.
The accident occurred at Jharmare, on the border of Bafikot Rural Municipality and Athbiskot Municipality in the district, leaving nine people critically injured.
Police stated that rescue operations are currently ongoing.
The jeep was heading toward Syalakhadi from the district headquarters Khalanga when the accident took place.
The jeep driver, Topjang Budha also sustained critical injuries. Since rescue efforts are still underway, detailed information is yet to come.
