Gold price down Rs 11,600 per tola today

The price of gold has decreased sharply following the Tihar festival.

With the fall in price, the bullion is being sold for Rs 241,900 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).

Prior to the festival, on October 20, the yellow precious metal was transacted for Rs 253,500 per tola.

The silver which was sold for Rs 3,280 per tola on October 20, has decreased to Rs 3,015 per tola today.

The price of gold and silver went down in the local market after its price decreased in the international market.

The gold is being sold for USD 4,113 per ounce and silver is being sold for USD 48 per ounce in the international market, according international news media outlets.
