1,500 including foreigners stranded in Manang snowfall rescued

A team led by the Nepali Army has rescued 1,500 people including more than 200 foreigners stranded in snowfall-hit Manang.

According to the information provided by the Nepal Army on Wednesday morning, the tourists have been rescued from Tilicho, Khangsar, Pisang, Upper Manag, Humde areas of Manang.

Manang district has been receiving a heavy snowfall.

Local administration, people's representatives, armed police force, Nepal Police and Nepali Army with the help of locals rescued the stranded tourists.
