Two youths have died after a motorcycle met with an accident in Durgha Phant, Arghakhanchi. Another young man was seriously injured in the accident, which took place on Monday evening.
The police reported that the motorcycle, Na 36 Pa 3509, was traveling toward Durgha Phant from Nigali in Panini Rural Municipality-3, Durgha Fãnt, when the accident occurred.
District Police Office Arghakhanchi Chief Diwas GC informed that the deceased are the motorcycle driver, 18-year-old Gautam BK of Panini-4 Nigali, and a pillion rider, 24-year-old Sagar BK.
The third person, 25-year-old Santosh Gharti, who was also riding pillion on the motorcycle, was referred to Palpa for further treatment after initial treatment at a hospital in Khajryang, Gulmi.
The police stated that three people were riding on the single motorcycle and that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
