The trading volume has surged past 3 billion rupees in the share market on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.
According to Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) data, a total of 7.947 million shares were sold today. Of this volume, Sahas Urja led the market with sales worth Rs 350 million, followed by Radhi Bidyut Company (Rs 320 million), NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (Rs 260 million), Shivam Cement (Rs 160 million), and Synergy Power Development (Rs 90 million).
The share prices of 142 companies went up, the prices of 102 companies went down and that of 10 companies remained unchanged.
While the shares of Shine Resunga Debenture, Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism hit a positive circuit breaker, the prices of Mabilung Energy, Sagar Distillery and Bungal Hydro increased by 9.99, 9.99 and 9.98 percent, respectively.
Similarly, the share price of Nepal SBI Bank Debenture and City Hotels declined by 9.39 % and 4.96 %, respectively.
The Nepse index increased by 3.21 points to settle at 2565.16 points today.
