If Lumbini Lions wins today's match, three teams including Pokhara Avengers, Chitwan Rhinos and Janakpur Bolts will be eliminated. Kananali Yaks has already crashed out of the NPL Season 2. Hence, today's match is very crucial for Lumbini.
Lumbini is in the fourth position in the score board with 6 points from 6 matches while Janakpur Bolts remains at the bottom with only 2 points from 5 matches.
A total of eight franchise-based teams are taking part in the second edition of the NPL, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal.
