The price of gold and silver in the Nepali market has hit an all-time high on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
The price of gold has increased by Rs 3,400 per tola to reach at Rs 261,700 today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers (FENEGOSIDA). This is the most expensive price of gold so far.
The price of gold, which fell by Rs 2,000 per tola on Friday and 100 Rs per tola on Sunday, has risen again today. Yesterday, the price of gold was Rs 258,300 per tola.
On December 15, the price of gold had reached Rs 260,700 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 135 per tola.
With the price hike, the silver is being traded at Rs 4,235 per tola today, according to the Federation. The price of silver was Rs 4,100 per tola.
This is the highest price of silver so far. The price of silver has been increasing continuously for the past few days.
