Light snowfall and rain likely in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki today

Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the weather will be mainly fair in the remaining areas of the country today.

According to the 8:00 am bulletin by Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light snowfall and rainfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces. Likewise, fog and mist are likely at many places in the Tarai region of the county.

Tonight, mist is likely at a few places in the Tarai region. Partly cloudy conditions are expected in Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces along with the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the weather will be mainly fair in the remaining areas.

Furthermore, there is a possibility of light snowfall and rainfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces.

The meteorological analysis by the Division says that at present there is partial influence of the westerly low pressure system in the country.
