Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has arrived in Pokhara today.
This is Thapa's first visit to the Lake City following his election as the President of Nepali Congress through the Special General Convention.
Chief Minister of Gangaki Province Surendra Raj Pandey welcomed Thapa upon his arrival at Pokhara International Airport.
Chief Minister Pandey was against the Special General Convention.
Thapa will participate in a gathering of cadres and leaders to be organized in Chipledhunga, Kaski by Nepali Congress Kaski District Working Committee. After this, Thapa will participate in a provincial level assembly organized by the Nepali Congress Gandaki Province Working Committee.
After attending the province level assembly, Thapa is scheduled to hold interactions with leaders and cadres of various districts of Gandaki Province.
