Light rain with snowfall likely in mountainous regions

Currently there is a partial influence of the westerly low pressure system in the weather of Nepal, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Saturday.

The hills and mountains of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are generally cloudy, while remaining hilly and mountainous areas of the country are partly cloudy.

According to the Division, the weather is mainly clear in the Terai region. In the afternoon, some parts of the Terai region will see foggy weather. The Division has stated that the mountainous areas of Koshi province and the remaining mountainous areas will generally be cloudy, while the rest of the hilly areas will be partly cloudy.

There is a possibility of light rain/snow with thunder/lightning at a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places in the mountainous areas of other provinces.

Light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places are likely in the hills of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

According to the division, a few places in the Terai region will see mist at night. Generally, it will be cloudy in the mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
