The Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted that the weather will remain fair across the country on Thursday, March 5, the date set for voting in the House of Representatives (HoR) election–2026.

Issuing a special weather bulletin today, the Division said that no significant weather system is expected to have its influence in the country from March 4 to 6.

Meteorologist Barun Paudel said that, based on the current analysis of weather patterns, skies are likely to remain generally fair in most parts of the country over the next three days.

However, there is a possibility of generally cloudy conditions with light rainfall and snowfall in some mountainous and hilly regions on Friday.

Today, one or two places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagamati, and Gandaki Provinces may experience isolated rainfall.

On Thursday, most parts of the country are expected to witness generally cloudy to mainly fair weather. There is no possibility of rainfall on Thursday.
