Nepse jumps 17.92 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has gone up by 17.92 points to settle at 2,143.76 on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

The benchmark index witnessed a trade of 12,581,982 shares of 259 companies, resulting in a turnover of over 5 billion rupees. 

The Nepse has been on the bullish trend with the formation of the new government.

The share-price of 147 companies increased while that of 62 companies took a nosedive today. Similarly, the price of other companies remained unchanged.

According to the Nepse summary, the share-price of Chandragiri Hills, Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydro, Dhaulagiri Microfinance, Khaptad Microfinance, Srijanshil Microfinance increased by 10 percent.

Himalayan Distillery Ltd. made the highest transaction of 430 million rupees in the share market today.
