Pandit appointed as NRB Deputy Governor

Kiran Pandit has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Pandit, who is the Executive Director of the central bank, was appointed as the Deputy Governor by the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday.

His name was recommended by the Ministry of Finance. He is working in the Foreign Exchange Management Department. He has experience working in various departments of the central bank.

With this, one of the two vacant deputy governor posts has now been filled. The posts of two deputy governors were vacant after the retirement of Neelam Dhungana and Bam Bahadur Mishra.
