LG Electronics, alongside its authorized distributor CG Electronics, has officially launched its latest lineup of DualCool Inverter Air Conditioners tailored for Nepali households. Unveiled at a special event at Vivanta Kathmandu by Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, the new models focus heavily on energy efficiency and climate resilience.
The highlight of the new lineup is the innovative kW Manager, a feature designed to help families manage rising energy costs. Through the LG ThinQ app, users can set their preferred electricity usage levels, monitor real-time consumption, and receive alerts to prevent unexpected spikes in their electricity bills. Additionally, the units feature a Freeze Clean technology that freezes and flushes away up to 99% of bacteria on the interior evaporator, ensuring cleaner, fresher airflow.
Built specifically to handle local environment challenges, the air conditioners come equipped with 100% copper tubes, Gold Fin+ anti-corrosion coating, and stabilizer-free operation to withstand the frequent voltage fluctuations common in Nepal.
Expressing his views on these new features for local consumers, Gaurab Hamal, General Manager of CG Electronics, said, "LG’s new kW Manager technology gives consumers greater control over their electricity usage and household expenses. With energy efficiency becoming a priority for Nepali homes, we believe this innovation will deliver meaningful value to our customers."
