CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the federal democratic republic would not have been possible if KP Sharma Oli had been at the helm of CPN-UML.
Nepal got the federal democratic republic due to Madhav Kumar Nepal who was in the leadership of the UML during the People’s Movement of 2062/63 BS.
Prachanda lauded leader Nepal, the chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) while addressing an introduction program of the candidates of the ruling alliance in Kathmandu constituency-2 on Sunday.
“Had there been leaders other than Madhav Nepal in the leadership of CPN-UML, the 12-Point Agreement would not have been signed, let the federal democratic republic alone,” said Prachanda hinting at Oli. “Madhav Nepal was at the helm of UML during that period, because of which, the peace process gained momentum.”
Meanwhile, Prachanda urged the Nepali people to cast votes in favor of the candidates of the ruling alliance in the November 20 polls, arguing that they have accepted one and another, already.
