Gold price increases by Rs 20,500 per tola

The price of gold increased significantly today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the gold price soared by Rs 20,500 per tola (11.66 grams) today compared to Friday, the last trading day of the week.

Today, it is being traded at Rs 311,100 per tola against Rs 290,600 on Friday. On Thursday, the price of precious yellow metal dropped by Rs 5,500 per tola in the domestic market, trading at Rs 285,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver today has been set at Rs 5,345 per tola against the Friday's price of Rs 5,040.
