The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ of Telgu action film RRR has created a history by bagging a Golden Globe Award amidst a ceremony held on Tuesday night.
Organized at Beverly Hills in California, the Telugu song Natu Natu was chosen for the award among five nominees -- Taylor Swift’s ‘Carolina’, Lady Gaga’s ‘Hold My Hand’, Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up,’ and Alexandre’s Ciao Papa in the award ceremony.
The film song was awarded for the category of the best original song.
The composer MM Keeravani said that he was overwhelmed with the honor while receiving the award, Hindustan Times reported.
"This award actually belongs to someone else, not me. I'm going to repeat the tradition. The award belongs to my brother and the writer of the movie, SS Rajamouli,” the composer said.
The RRR team tweeted:
