The death toll in the Kavre road accident has reached eight after one more body was recovered from the accident site.
Sixteen passengers sustained injuries. The injured are receiving treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Bista, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kavre, a total of eight bodies have been recovered so far.
The ill-fated bus, (Ba 3 Kha 8398) was heading to Sungure from Banepa when the accident took place at Buchakot this afternoon.
A total of 24 people were traveling in the bus.
