According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal CAAN, the aircraft of Yeti Airlines, which crashed in Pokhara this morning, had received permission to land.
Gyanendra Bhul, the information officer of the authority, informed that the plane that took off from Kathmandu airport at 10:32 this morning had taken permission
to land before the accident.
"Weather was not a problem, preliminary information has been received that the plane crashed due to technical reasons", he said, "Information has been received that flames were seen in the sky."
The plane was carrying four crew members and 68 passengers.
The aircraft had crew members including Captain Kamal KC and first officer Anju Khatiwada.
According to the Authority, there were eight foreign nationals and 60 Nepali nationals. In which 62 adults, three children, three disabled people were on board.
