Govt spends 32% budget in first half of FY 2079/80

During the half-yearly review period of the current fiscal year 2079/80, the budget expenditure of the government stands at 32.13 percent.

According to the statistics of the Auditor General's Office, the government has spent 576 billion and 340 million rupees.

For the current fiscal, the government has allocated 1 trillion 793 billion 830 million 73 million and 300 thousand rupees.

During the half-year review period of the budget, only 14 percent of the capital expenditure has been incurred.

Similarly, 29.44 percent has been spent on financial management.

During this period, the government's revenue collection is 33.93 percent of the annual target.

For the current fiscal year, the government has set a target of raising revenue of 1 trillion 403 billion 147 million rupees.
